Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) 5 minutes into the game, Juan Diniz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wahid Carro. Juan Diniz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Luisinho Borges hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Cacá Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred de Queirós having to interfere. Wahid Carro was a little too slow when Juan Diniz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to Guaraxaim getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Juninho Prestes hit a great ball. Ricardinho Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardinho Miranda hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Snorlax F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Frank Gaspar. Cacá Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 played minutes Guaraxaim got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Miranda. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur de Moraes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guaraxaim's Artur de Moraes got a free kick in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Guaraxaim's goalkeeper Wahid Carro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Melo. In the 44th minute of the match, Luiz Fabiano Melo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wahid Carro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá Sarmento made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cacá Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Snorlax F.C.'s Fred de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cacá Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fred de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando de Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred de Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando de Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Guaraxaim's Cacá Sarmento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred de Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Luiz Fabiano Melo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snorlax F.C.'s protests and gave Luiz Fabiano Melo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Snorlax F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Melo hit a great ball. Juninho Prestes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Sarmento in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Many of Guaraxaim's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Guaraxaim may have spent more time on the ball, but Snorlax F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
