Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Guerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Sidnei Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maracacume EC's protests and gave Sidnei Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Maracacume EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Lopez came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Maracacume EC's Basílio Andrade. But to his dismay, Basílio Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Horácio Mendes made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Eliézer Branco sent off a good shot on target. Horácio Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Guerra in the 20th minute of play. Miguel Rocha's late challenge caught a Maracacume EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jarbas Velasco, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Basílio Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Roberto Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio de Sena in the 56th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, KING YESHUA ISRAEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Maracacume EC's Basílio Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caio de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Maracacume EC got a freekick which was hit by Caio de Sena. Horácio Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Branco in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Maracacume EC booed when KING YESHUA ISRAEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. KING YESHUA ISRAEL's Roberto Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save KING YESHUA ISRAEL from getting a goal against them. Basílio Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Roberto Lopez made a huge save. A collision led to KING YESHUA ISRAEL getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Giuseppe Munhoz hit a great ball. Jarbas Velasco, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Roberto Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maracacume EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
