Dariusz Mikulski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Arce in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tijucal F.C.'s zone, Ronaldo Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Mikulski came out of the goal and Ronaldo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fábio Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tijucal F.C.'s Walmyr de Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardinho Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Mathias Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juvenal Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Juvenal Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dariusz Mikulski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juvenal Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Mikulski having to interfere. Donje-Ljubinje's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tijucal F.C. had won, even though Donje-Ljubinje had held more of the ball.
