Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Paulo Félix took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in irajamaoca's zone, Juninho Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Peres came out of the goal and Juninho Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dário Furtado sped through irajamaoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hortêncio Peres. Dário Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dário Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hortêncio Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nildo Andrade, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rogério Peres was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rogério Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Félix in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Dário Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hortêncio Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dário Furtado might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hortêncio Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dário Furtado ran back to his position shaking his head. José Paulo Félix struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rogério Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for irajamaoca. The long shot by Jean Corrêa in the 46th minute really tested Rogério Peres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The irajamaoca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paty FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dário Furtado to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Furtado in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Peres saved irajamaoca from getting behind. Hortêncio Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário Furtado in the 64th minute. José Paulo Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rogério Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Nildo Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paty FC's Rogério Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The irajamaoca fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when irajamaoca's Nildo Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paty FC's Rogério Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Andrade in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Chicão Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the irajamaoca and the Paty FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, irajamaoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Soares to maneuver through the defense. Dário Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Nildo Andrade's late challenge caught a Paty FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nildo Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. When Régis Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paty FC's protests and gave Régis Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Régis Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dário Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Hortêncio Peres made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Paty FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than irajamaoca.
