Donje-Ljubinje's Bernardinho Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Loyola in the 11th minute of play. Juvenal Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Bernardinho Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. B1 Vegetal's Serafim Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, B1 Vegetal's Arnaldo Loyola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardinho Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. César Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Arce in the 38th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardinho Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Motta in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardinho Magalhães saved Donje-Ljubinje from getting behind. Juvenal Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. César Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Sena took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardinho Magalhães. Bernardinho Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Donje-Ljubinje players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. B1 Vegetal were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juvenal Vander to make the kick off. Arnaldo Loyola's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernardinho Magalhães firmly grabbed it by the left post. Andrézinho Paraíba came free in the 58th minute and tried to tip the ball over César Silva, but to the joy of B1 Vegetal's supporters the ball went over. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Motta in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardinho Magalhães saved Donje-Ljubinje from getting behind. Duarte Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With his leg Bernardinho Magalhães managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when B1 Vegetal's Serafim Motta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bernardinho Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Motta's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Bernardinho Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Loyola in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, B1 Vegetal's Serafim Motta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardinho Magalhães. Bernardinho Magalhães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Donje-Ljubinje's Ronaldo Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juvenal Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Serafim Motta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardinho Magalhães. Donje-Ljubinje's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafim Motta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Ronaldo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardinho Magalhães was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Serafim Motta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Serafim Motta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Duarte Cearense hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Donje-Ljubinje got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Arce. Bernardinho Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Loyola in the 97th minute. Serafim Motta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Bernardinho Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
