In the 10th minute, Andrézinho Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Isaltino Dracena. Cadozinho SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Juvenal Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donje-Ljubinje's supporters rose to their feet, but Juvenal Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaltino Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Juvenal Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donje-Ljubinje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Paraíba in the 22nd minute of play forced Cadozinho SS's goalkeeper Isaltino Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donje-Ljubinje's Ronaldo Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Geovânio Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Cadozinho SS's Isaltino Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cadozinho SS from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Juvenal Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cadozinho SS's zone, Ronaldo Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Dracena came out of the goal and Ronaldo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Juvenal Vander notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cadozinho SS's Isaltino Dracena. Isaltino Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrézinho Paraíba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaltino Dracena having to make a save. If Juvenal Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
