In the 87th match minute, ZURC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Paulo Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. José Augusto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ZURC FC's Hugo Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over ZURC FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itapeua throughout the match.
