After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Zézinho Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guama's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Guarani de Osasco's goalkeeper Reinaldo Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvério Toledo. Zézinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tales Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Gaspar in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizinho Gaspar in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tales Porto saved Guama from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelinho Tróia during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guama's Marcelinho Tróia got a free kick in the 58th minute. Guarani de Osasco's Luizinho Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Marcelinho Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Sílvio Luís Souto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tales Porto, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olavo Negri in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Luizinho Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
