Giovani de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zézinho Barreto made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Negri in the 51st minute of play forced SemLimites FC's goalkeeper Giovani de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, SemLimites FC's Tales Porto threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ezequiel Reis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Zézinho Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo Negri struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Giovani de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guama. Tales Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Valladares in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guama had won after a very even match.
