In the 6th minute of the match Cléber Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delfim Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cedrolina AD's Dida Soeiro got a free kick in the 6th minute. Cipriano Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 13 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Blues Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luiz Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ricardo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Real Blues Clube getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Adriano Costa hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Blues Clube and the Cedrolina AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Real Blues Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. If Cipriano Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luiz Trevisan got free with Delfim Azevedo in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Recife made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Cedrolina AD got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Costa. The supporters of Cedrolina AD booed when Real Blues Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glauco Quintal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiago Trevisan. Real Blues Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiago Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Cipriano Recife made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Azevedo. Cedrolina AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Delfim Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Recife's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Luís Gustavo de Medeiros hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ricardo Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Trevisan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Arthur Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Adriano Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Blues Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cedrolina AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Real Blues Clube's Adriano Costa got a free kick in the 89th minute. Sílvio Luiz Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Azevedo having to interfere. Cipriano Recife might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Recife ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Blues Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
