Spectators: 7307 (Terracing: 5481, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leopoldo Ramalho got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Jaime Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Campo Grande F.C.'s Charles Brodel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui França narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Campo Grande F.C.'s Edgard Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Vito de Toledo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio Trevisan. The goal made the score 2-0. Júlio Trevisan came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Pacuri FC's Ramón de Queirós. But to his dismay, Ramón de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Júlio Trevisan was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Vito de Toledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vito de Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Gernando Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campo Grande F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Vito de Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Trevisan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito de Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Ramón de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramón de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ramón de Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pacuri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón de Queirós couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Campo Grande F.C. defense, Vito de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Trevisan. The Campo Grande F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Trevisan should have stopped the shot. Ramón de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Trevisan having to interfere. Leopoldo Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui França having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Edgard Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campo Grande F.C. and the Pacuri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ramón de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute of the match Charles Brodel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui França skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón de Queirós in the 97th minute of play forced Campo Grande F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
