Spectators: 7187 (Terracing: 5392, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hermínio Veiga started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Campo Grande F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Veiga took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Trevisan. Júlio Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vicente Sá got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rafa Sarmento. In the 11th minute, Leopoldo Ramalho made a precise shot to the right of Duda Pimenta. Flamengo CRF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Campo Grande F.C.'s zone, Hermínio Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Trevisan came out of the goal and Hermínio Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flamengo CRF! The referee gave Campo Grande F.C. a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Charles Brodel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flamengo CRF's Duda Pimenta. 1-2. 1-3 became the score in the 23rd minute when Leopoldo Ramalho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hermínio Veiga in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio Trevisan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 31 minutes, Gernando Mello made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Flamengo CRF's Duda Pimenta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Duda Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Flamengo CRF's Allan Aguiar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Hermínio Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Hermínio Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo CRF's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Allan Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Júlio Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Léo Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gernando Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Flamengo CRF's Hermínio Veiga in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Campo Grande F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Campo Grande F.C. booed when Flamengo CRF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Trevisan having to interfere. Júlio Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campo Grande F.C.'s Júlio Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Veiga in the 76th minute of play. Júlio Trevisan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Aguiar went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. When Guto Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campo Grande F.C.'s protests and gave Guto Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Campo Grande F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Flamengo CRF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
