Júlio Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Campo Grande F.C.'s Júlio Trevisan got control of the ball when Claudinei Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Costa in the 24th minute of play forced Campo Grande F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Saraiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Trevisan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Saraiva ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Bolivia Querida's Adriano Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Campo Grande F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Sá to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Leopoldo Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Cipriano Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bolivia Querida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Campo Grande F.C.'s Júlio Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Campo Grande F.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience held their breath when Osvaldinho Pereira in the 43rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Júlio Trevisan's left hand side. Campo Grande F.C.'s Júlio Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Costa in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Ramalho made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Campo Grande F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Costa came free, but Júlio Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campo Grande F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Trevisan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Campo Grande F.C.'s Júlio Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Saraiva in the 89th minute of play. SC Bolivia Querida's Cipriano Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Trevisan came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bolivia Querida's Claudinei Costa. But to his dismay, Claudinei Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Bolivia Querida had played much better football throughout.
