João Francisco de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Alvarenga having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by João Francisco de Alcântara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jânio Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Bezerra having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Time do Emanuel FC's goalkeeper Renato Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Rocha. If João Francisco de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute of the match Diamantino Lima sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Bezerra skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the match, AC Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Lira came free, but Michel Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AC Dragons getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sérgio Rocha hit a great ball. Simão de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Time do Emanuel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Simão de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Hoffmann in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mazinho Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When Mazinho Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Time do Emanuel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Pirani couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, João Francisco de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Renato Alvarenga. Time do Emanuel FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Sérgio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, AC Dragons's Michel Bezerra got control of the ball when Jânio Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jânio Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Bezerra having to interfere. Jânio Lira struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Michel Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Time do Emanuel FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Time do Emanuel FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Dragons.
