Dino Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Adriano de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Balisa FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Caetano Paraibano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Balisa FC's zone, Davi de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano de Brito came out of the goal and Davi de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Maicon Braga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dino Tasso, 1-0. The wind increased when Davi de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Maicon Braga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino Tasso was relentless in the 51st minute of the game.
