When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maicon Braga made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cafu Lira during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cafu Lira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Maicon Braga succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Valdir Arósio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, one of Sarzedo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Caetano Paraibano sped through Sarzedo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogério Mesquita. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Sarzedo's Bruno Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Sarzedo's Rogério Mesquita got control of the ball when Caetano Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caetano Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Mesquita having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sarzedo's Cláudio Ortiz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Rogério Mesquita was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Valdir Arósio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdir Arósio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5.
