The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Quirino helped the player get up and apologised. Sílvio Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Allan Fernandes notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Esquadrão Rubro-Negro FA's Carlos Augusto Cerezo. Carlos Augusto Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute Jefferson Araújo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Natã Bertassi's late challenge caught a Esquadrão Rubro-Negro FA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natã Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Porto Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Bertassi. In the 48th minute, Jano Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Duda Baptista. Porto Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Quirino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Allan Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Sebastião Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
