Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the SELK FC defense, Gino Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Nascimento. The SELK FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Nascimento should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Nestor Nogueira in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SELK FC's Hamílton Penha. A collision led to Guaravera getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cássio Duarte hit a great ball. Valdemar Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Proença in the 11th minute of the match. Cristiano Magalhães in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eriberto Medeiros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Medeiros was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, SELK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Trigo to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, João Campidelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaravera and the SELK FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Guaravera got a freekick which was hit by João Campidelis. SELK FC's Kléberson Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Cristiano Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SELK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Eriberto Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Cristiano Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. Décio Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Cristiano Magalhães lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Eriberto Medeiros. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gino Mello made a kick off. Ricardo de Queiroz lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of SELK FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gino Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdemar Nascimento was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nestor Nogueira. In the 74th minute, Kléberson Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Guaravera getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nestor Nogueira hit a great ball. SELK FC's Cristiano Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Nogueira made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SELK FC's Hamílton Penha. Eriberto Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kléberson Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rubens Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Medeiros having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Coelho during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guaravera booed when SELK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute of the match Cacá Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdemar Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SELK FC fully deserved thier win.
