When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Luizinho Rosado sped through Guaravera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Medeiros. In the 37th minute, João Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Luís Guilherme Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaravera's Eriberto Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Rosado in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Gaúcho in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Medeiros saved Guaravera from getting behind. If Luizinho Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Warriors FC's Mauro Marinho got control of the ball when Leandro Proença tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Guaravera's zone, Luís Guilherme Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Medeiros came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Medeiros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luizinho Rosado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. Eriberto Medeiros stood somewhat misplaced when Luizinho Rosado came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Leandro Proença scored 1-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizinho Rosado got free with Eriberto Medeiros in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luizinho Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Eriberto Medeiros made a huge save. In the 97thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaravera's Eriberto Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Warriors FC played a much better game than Guaravera and deserved their victory. The Guaravera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
