Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Mello in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcel Vale hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Esteves during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Proença couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
