Elivélton Paiva came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaravera's Leandro Proença. But to his dismay, Leandro Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Cacá Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaravera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corei522GH the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Guaravera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Esteves to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Rodriguinho Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Júnior Cordeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Eriberto Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. Guaravera's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
