Benedito Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Magalhães in the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, SELK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Queirós to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes in the game Válbson Neto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Raúl Mota. After a defensive mix-up in Portaria Quase FC's zone, Décio Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Barros came out of the goal and Décio Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SELK FC booed when Portaria Quase FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristiano Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Sá in the 25th minute of play forced Portaria Quase FC's goalkeeper Benedito Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
