One of Porradinha Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alexrandina EC:s goal. Dráuzio Guimarães shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 22nd minute, Ediberto de Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Antunes. Alexrandina EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Toninho Castro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Alexrandina EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto de Sousa came free, but Arnaldo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Ediberto de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rubinho Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porradinha Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ediberto de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ediberto de Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Antunes having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Porradinha Futebol Clube's Sílvio Luiz Simão got a free kick in the 41st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Geraldo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mário Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Victor Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alexrandina EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes, Zé Paulo Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porradinha Futebol Clube and the Alexrandina EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Porradinha Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Fernandes. Geraldo Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Geraldo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Alexrandina EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Leite couldn't finish the play. If Ediberto de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Porradinha Futebol Clube booed when Alexrandina EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes Porradinha Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Castro. Alexrandina EC's Dráuzio Guimarães couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Porradinha Futebol Clube. Mário Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Geraldo Leite notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Porradinha Futebol Clube's Mário Veloso. Mário Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ediberto de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Hermínio Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Porradinha Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hermínio Santos hit a great ball. Zé Paulo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
