Luizão Vale in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gildo Motta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Cupom FNX getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cesinha de Brito hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Abel Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karamelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizinho Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cupom FNX's zone, Abel Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho Hermes came out of the goal and Abel Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizinho Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Kvarnström in the 30th minute of the match. With 32 minutes on the clock, Inácio Valadares commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Karamelo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Cupom FNX's Luizão Vale got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gildo Motta. Luizão Vale in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gildo Motta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abel Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karamelo FC's Gildo Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Siqueira in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Eusébio Vieira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cupom FNX's Vinícius Siqueira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 47 played minutes Cupom FNX got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Maciel. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luizão Vale to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Cupom FNX's Luizão Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildo Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 62 minutes into the match, Karamelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Vale came free, but Gildo Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Karamelo FC booed when Cupom FNX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Luizão Vale put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gildo Motta. Claudinei Sampaio made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cupom FNX's Vinícius Siqueira. After a defensive mix-up in Karamelo FC's zone, Vinícius Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gildo Motta came out of the goal and Vinícius Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cupom FNX support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
