When Róbson Senna came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Pula Pirata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbson Senna couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, Karamelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llorian Tarin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pula Pirata FC's Artur Freire got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 35th play minutes Róbson Senna shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Gildo Motta and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Karamelo FC booed when Pula Pirata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tostão Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Gildo Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Senna in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Róbson Senna made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Karamelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Kvarnström. Róbson Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Oliveira in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edison Jorrin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Pula Pirata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Arósio came free, but Edison Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edison Jorrin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Karamelo FC's Gildo Motta got control of the ball when Róbson Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pula Pirata FC's Róbson Senna in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
