Luizinho Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dadá Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Fausto Tepedino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luizinho Hermes skillfully saved the ball. In the 15th minute, Luizão Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gildo Saraiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 20th minute, Ivo Linares made a precise shot to the right of Luizinho Hermes. Cupom FNX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 23 minutes in the game Luís Fabiano Vides did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zé Paulo Negri. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizão Vale got free with Gildo Saraiva in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd match minute, Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Sousa to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Luizão Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildo Saraiva. Ajax's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizão Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Luizão Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinícius Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gildo Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinícius Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Luizão Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Vinícius Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cupom FNX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Geraldo Maciel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gildo Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cupom FNX. Otávio Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Luizão Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cupom FNX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Abreu made a kick off. In the 54th minute Luizão Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Abreu during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cupom FNX's Geraldo Maciel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandrinho Pinheiro, made in the 61st minute of the game. Luizinho Hermes made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ivo Linares sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Donato Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizinho Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Negri in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Luizão Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Vinícius Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cupom FNX's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinícius Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luizão Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Prata. In the 83rd minute Luizão Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Siqueira in the 84th minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Gildo Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Saraiva having to interfere. Vito Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cupom FNX's Luizão Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Prata to maneuver through the defense. Vinícius Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão Vale in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gildo Saraiva saved Ajax from getting behind. Cupom FNX's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
