In the 29th minute Karamelo FC were awarded a corner. Llorian Tarin went to the cornerflag to take it. Llorian Tarin made a great header on Karamelo FC's corner, it was just that GOLfootbalfc's Aírton Lago managed to reach the ball for a save. Dagoberto Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karamelo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Llorian Tarin in the 42nd minute. Karamelo FC's Paulinho Arósio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aírton Lago in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Abel Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gildo Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Aírton Lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Oliveira went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Baltazar Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Aírton Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the match, GOLfootbalfc's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Oliveira came free, but Aírton Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Serginho Neiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karamelo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GOLfootbalfc the free kick. If Abel Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GOLfootbalfc booed when Karamelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, GOLfootbalfc's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Oliveira came free, but Aírton Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Arósio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Aírton Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamelo FC. Karamelo FC's Abel Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeca Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Paulinho Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aírton Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Abel Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Eusébio Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Lago having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Oliveira in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aírton Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Abel Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulinho Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Lago having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Karamelo FC had played much better football throughout.
