A beautiful save bye Cupom FNX's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Róbson Senna put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luizinho Hermes. Pula Pirata FC's Róbson Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noel Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Róbson Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinícius Siqueira succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The long shot by Osmar da Fonseca in the 23rd minute really tested Luizinho Hermes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Róbson Senna let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 24th minute shot 2-1 at rihgt post. Edison Jorrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Siqueira in the 27th minute of the match. Cupom FNX's Luizinho Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Cupom FNX from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Róbson Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Cupom FNX's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Hoffmann came free, but Luizinho Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pula Pirata FC's Edison Jorrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Vale in the 40th minute of play. Cupom FNX's attentive Nelsinho Barbosa managed to snatch the ball when Osmar da Fonseca made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Edison Jorrin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luizão Vale's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After 44 played minutes Pula Pirata FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Hoffmann. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão Vale in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edison Jorrin saved Pula Pirata FC from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbson Senna to make the kick off. Luizinho Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Mroczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Pula Pirata FC's goalkeeper Edison Jorrin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizão Vale. Cupom FNX's Nelsinho Barbosa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Osmar da Fonseca in the 60 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Siqueira got free with Edison Jorrin in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pula Pirata FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Luizão Vale scored to the left of an out of position Edison Jorrin, making the score, 2-2. Róbson Senna's late challenge caught a Cupom FNX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Róbson Senna helped the player get up and apologised. Róbson Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Luizão Vale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Edison Jorrin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Noel Leão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luizinho Hermes. Cupom FNX's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão Vale in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edison Jorrin saved Pula Pirata FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Yan Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Cupom FNX's Luizão Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edison Jorrin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The audience was convinced that Luizão Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edison Jorrin was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Edison Jorrin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Pula Pirata FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cupom FNX's performance. The match ended with a win for Cupom FNX.
