The score was now 1-1. If Yuri Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Anísio de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 24 minutes, Gualter Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macazeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Gino Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviões da Vila Alpina's Tomás Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gino Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tomás Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviões da Vila Alpina's zone, Gualter Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Garcia came out of the goal and Gualter Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gino Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gino Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Mazza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 39th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Pena in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Gualter Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macazeira's Gualter Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Macazeira's Délio Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Macazeira from getting a goal against them. Benê Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Anísio de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualter Mazza struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tomás Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macazeira. In the 78th minute, Zeca Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gualter Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes, Geovani Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaviões da Vila Alpina and the Macazeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Gaviões da Vila Alpina got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Moura. Gualter Mazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualter Mazza ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Gino Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gualter Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomás Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino Pena went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Macazeira had played much better football throughout.
