After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orgasmatron SS! Ernani Ramos had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Benjamim Furtado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Dragões de Santiago FC's Benjamim Furtado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernani Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Dragões de Santiago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Monteiro came free, but Gilberto Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marcus Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Joel Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Lara in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Gaúcho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Gaúcho having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcus Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Gaúcho was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Pedro Luiz Monteiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Gaúcho having to make a save. Gilberto Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Lara's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcus Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Gaúcho was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Henrique Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões de Santiago FC's zone, Marcus Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Gaúcho came out of the goal and Marcus Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gilberto Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Gaúcho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Henrique Vidal struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Ernani Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragões de Santiago FC. Orgasmatron SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
