An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by João Augusto Maia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glauco Abraão in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horácio Ferreira's late challenge caught a Hinkiridion F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Neves FC's Horácio Ferreira got a free kick in the 13th minute. Geraldo de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Neves FC's zone, Cauã Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo de Barros came out of the goal and Cauã Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hinkiridion F.C's Cauã Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geraldo de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Cauã Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Geraldo de Barros. Neves FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hinkiridion F.C's Caio Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Abraão in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Hinkiridion F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Augusto Maia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee gave Neves FC a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredo Marques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hinkiridion F.C's Caio Quadros. 1-1. Neves FC's Glauco Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caio Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Maia in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Hinkiridion F.C getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Diogo Salgado hit a great ball. Caio Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Abraão in the 73rd minute of play. Glauco Abraão took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio Quadros. Caio Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 86th minute, Glauco Abraão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neves FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hinkiridion F.C's goalkeeper Caio Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Hinkiridion F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme de Moraes. Neves FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
