But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Aparecido couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cauã Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinkiridion F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauã Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 16 minutes of play, Hinkiridion F.C's Váldson Prata made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute of the match Luís Eduardo Camargo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Gaúcho skillfully saved the ball. Serginho Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Caio Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Váldson Prata might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Aparecido in the 24th minute of the match. Raúl Gaúcho hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hinkiridion F.C's Váldson Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cauã Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cauã Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Gaúcho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Aparecido in the 73rd minute of play forced Dragões de Santiago FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caio Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
