In the 12th match minute, FC Pankakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Arquímedes Arquett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Sericita FC booed when FC Pankakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, FC Pankakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Amorim to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Sericita FC's Cacá Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arquímedes Arquett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Amílton Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Amílton Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Arquímedes Arquett. FC Pankakes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Bernardo de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sericita FC's protests and gave Bernardo de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardo de Barros hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Arquímedes Arquett came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Sericita FC's Cacá Mineiro. But to his dismay, Cacá Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfredo Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arquímedes Arquett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Amílton Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacá Mineiro took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arquímedes Arquett. Arquímedes Arquett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, FC Pankakes's Benê Vinhas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to FC Pankakes getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Manfredo Vidal hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Amílton Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arquímedes Arquett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arquímedes Arquett made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cacá Mineiro sent off a good shot on target. Arquímedes Arquett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Rossi in the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Mineiro got free with Arquímedes Arquett in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Geovânio Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pankakes's goalkeeper Arquímedes Arquett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The FC Pankakes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sericita FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sericita FC.
