In the 14th match minute, fuziu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Vargas to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, fuziu's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Rodrigues came free, but Nando Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. fuziu's Frédson Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nando Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nando Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pulse F.C.'s zone, Frédson Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Coelho came out of the goal and Frédson Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabinho Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After a rather tough play, Pulse F.C.'s Waldemar Cearense got a free kick in the 51st minute. Victor Brito in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcel Coelho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd match minute, fuziu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Quintal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Teodoro Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pulse F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pulse F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Teodoro Freitas hit a great ball. Victor Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Coelho having to interfere. Marcel Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Vargas in the 84th minute of play. Marcel Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pulse F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite fuziu having more of the ball for most of the match.
