Arí Favoretto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Raúl Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Vargas in the 17th minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Barral in the 25th minute of play forced fuziu's goalkeeper Nando Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho Simões's late challenge caught a Bongo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisinho Simões helped the player get up and apologised. Luisinho Simões hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Frédson Vargas rounded Bongo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Frédson Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Raúl Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Vargas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 48th minute Mateus Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frédson Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bongo FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Wágner Campidelis hit a great ball. In the 54th match minute, fuziu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bongo FC booed when fuziu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Renan Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frédson Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Renan Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fuziu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Luiz Fabiano Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. fuziu's Nando Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save fuziu from getting a goal against them. Nando Tepedino was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Luiz Fabiano Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Fabiano Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
