After a defensive mix-up in Hellcife FC's zone, Severino Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Barbosa came out of the goal and Severino Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th match minute, Piqueroby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Severino Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Adilson Vidal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Afonsinho Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hellcife FC's Oséias Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hellcife FC from getting a goal against them. If Pedro Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Vidal went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Oséias Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adilson Vidal took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oséias Barbosa. Oséias Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonsinho Quadros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Adilson Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Quirino struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Oséias Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piqueroby FC. When Severino Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Piqueroby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Quirino couldn't finish the play. Adilson Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Barbosa having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Hellcife FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Vidal came free, but Oséias Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Ezequiel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hellcife FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hellcife FC booed when Piqueroby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Betinho Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonsinho Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonsinho Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rogério Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rogério Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Hellcife FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Dantas couldn't finish the play. Piqueroby FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
