Severino Quirino started the match with the kick off. Pedro Vidal's late challenge caught a FC Pankakes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Egídio de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias da Silveira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Severino Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piqueroby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arquímedes Arquett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arquímedes Arquett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Vidal in the 14th minute of the match. FC Pankakes's Arquímedes Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Vidal in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes FC Pankakes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bebeto Bertassi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Piqueroby FC's Bebeto Bertassi to fire away a dangerous shot which Arquímedes Arquett despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Geraldo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mathias da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Severino Quirino made a precise shot to the right of Arquímedes Arquett. FC Pankakes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of FC Pankakes booed when Piqueroby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Severino Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arquímedes Arquett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Vidal in the 44th minute of play forced FC Pankakes's goalkeeper Arquímedes Arquett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes, Piqueroby FC's Bebeto Bertassi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arquímedes Arquett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piqueroby FC reached it.

The wind increased when Geraldo Salgado made the kick off in the second half. When Severino Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Piqueroby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Quirino couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, FC Pankakes's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Quirino came free, but Arquímedes Arquett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, FC Pankakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Adilson Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arquímedes Arquett having to interfere. Geraldo Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias da Silveira having to interfere. Arquímedes Arquett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Piqueroby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Pombal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Pankakes getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Benê Vinhas hit a great ball. FC Pankakes's Geovânio Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Pankakes's Arquímedes Arquett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pankakes from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Severino Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Pankakes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Piqueroby FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Piqueroby FC.
