With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateus Barral in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Sampaio saved Sericita FC from getting behind. Amílton Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Cacá Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes, Marquinhos Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bongo FC and the Sericita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amílton Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play.
