Tradição Futebol Clube's Osmar Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Sericita FC's Amílton Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dé Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Elder Fantini in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Osmar Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Elder Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aílton Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 34 minutes, Osmar Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tradição Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Amílton Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Tradição Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Mineiro came free, but Dé Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílton Rossi struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dé Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sericita FC. A collision led to Tradição Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alexsandro Toscano hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amílton Rossi made a kick off. In the 61stth minute of the game Amílton Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tradição Futebol Clube's Dé Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elder Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Tradição Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Cacá Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dé Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferson Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jefferson Diniz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Amílton Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, one of Tradição Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Dé Sanches, was totally fooled by Sericita FC's Horácio Novaes, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Amílton Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dé Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílton Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. Cacá Mineiro scored 1-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dé Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Cacá Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sericita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Dé Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá Mineiro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Rossi in the 91st minute of play forced Tradição Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Dé Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Sericita FC's Cacá Mineiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Amílton Rossi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Sericita FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Cacá Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sericita FC played a much better game than Tradição Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Tradição Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
