Cussauro Mz's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Quintal in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. Mathias da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cussauro Mz. Nilmar Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mathias da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Umberto Quintal to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Piqueroby FC's Adilson Vidal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cussauro Mz booed when Piqueroby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Vidal couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Umberto Quintal in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Piqueroby FC's zone, Nilmar Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias da Silveira came out of the goal and Nilmar Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilmar Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
