After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Frédson Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. fuziu's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédson Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nando Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Umberto Quintal sent off a good shot on target. Frédson Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Mumbach kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Cristiano Capixaba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willian Pombal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. fuziu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Umberto Quintal scored to the left of an out of position Nando Tepedino, making the score, 1-1. After 40 minutes, Umberto Quintal made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. fuziu's Nando Tepedino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Willian Pombal made a huge save. Umberto Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nando Tepedino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Quintal's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Nando Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Nilmar Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Quintal in the 68th minute of play forced fuziu's goalkeeper Nando Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Quintal in the 69th minute of play. The Cussauro Mz fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Cussauro Mz's Umberto Quintal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 77th play minutes Umberto Quintal shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Nando Tepedino and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute, Victor Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Quintal in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Tepedino saved fuziu from getting behind. Nando Tepedino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Quintal's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute Umberto Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the fuziu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cussauro Mz.
