Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Hellcife FC's Afonsinho Quadros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Betinho Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Hellcife FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Hellcife FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Teodoro Freitas scored to the left of an out of position Oséias Barbosa, making the score, 1-0. Pulse F.C.'s Marcel Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Dantas in the 8th minute of play. Oséias Barbosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodoro Freitas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Marcel Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséias Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Samuel Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Barbosa having to interfere. When Rogério Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Hellcife FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Dantas couldn't finish the play. Marcel Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Quadros in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Hellcife FC's Oséias Barbosa got control of the ball when Teodoro Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Teodoro Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Rodrigues in the 43rd minute of play forced Hellcife FC's goalkeeper Oséias Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Afonsinho Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Hellcife FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonsinho Quadros couldn't finish the play. 50 minutes into the match, Hellcife FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Rodrigues came free, but Oséias Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Rodrigues to make the kick off. Samuel Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Barbosa having to interfere. Hellcife FC's Oséias Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Freitas in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Teodoro Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pulse F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hellcife FC's Betinho Cardoso got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Betinho Cardoso off the ground. Rogério Dantas in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcel Coelho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 68 minutes, Claudinei Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pulse F.C. and the Hellcife FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Pulse F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Lara to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonsinho Quadros during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oséias Barbosa came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Pulse F.C.'s Samuel Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Samuel Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rogério Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marcel Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teodoro Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Hellcife FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pulse F.C. had played much better football throughout.
