FC Pankakes's Arquímedes Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Freitas in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to FC Pankakes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Geovânio Amorim hit a great ball. Pulse F.C.'s Teodoro Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arquímedes Arquett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Pulse F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Lucas. The supporters of Pulse F.C. booed when FC Pankakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serginho Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arquímedes Arquett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Teodoro Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arquímedes Arquett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of FC Pankakes booed when Pulse F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Arquímedes Arquett made a huge save. In the 61st minute Samuel Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arquímedes Arquett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Pankakes's Geovânio Amorim got a free kick in the 65th minute. Arquímedes Arquett made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Teodoro Freitas sent off a good shot on target. Arquímedes Arquett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Freitas in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, FC Pankakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Pulse F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
