Cacá Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arquímedes Arquett made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Geovânio Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pankakes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sericita FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Pankakes's Geovânio Amorim got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Mineiro got free with Arquímedes Arquett in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Sericita FC's Arquímedes Arquett threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amílton Rossi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Sericita FC's Cacá Mineiro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Horácio Novaes threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Pankakes's Geovânio Amorim quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of FC Pankakes booed when Sericita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arquímedes Arquett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Mineiro in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the FC Pankakes defense, Cacá Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arquímedes Arquett. The FC Pankakes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arquímedes Arquett should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pankakes's goalkeeper Arquímedes Arquett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in FC Pankakes's zone, Amílton Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arquímedes Arquett came out of the goal and Amílton Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benê Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Arquímedes Arquett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Amílton Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Arquímedes Arquett. FC Pankakes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Benedito Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Arquímedes Arquett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Mineiro in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Gernando Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sericita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Bastos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Amílton Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Arquímedes Arquett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arquímedes Arquett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Arquímedes Arquett came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sericita FC's Amílton Rossi. But to his dismay, Amílton Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Arquímedes Arquett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Rossi in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Pankakes's Benê Vinhas got a free kick in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Cacá Mineiro notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of FC Pankakes's Arquímedes Arquett. Arquímedes Arquett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sericita FC had won after a very even match.
