Desbravadores FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético dos Craque the free kick. In the 12th minute, Sandro Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilton Garcia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 20 played minutes Desbravadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Ribeiro. Clube Atlético dos Craque's Arthur Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Clube Atlético dos Craque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. When Wilton Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Desbravadores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilton Garcia couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Clube Atlético dos Craque getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tales Lara hit a great ball. The supporters of Desbravadores FC booed when Clube Atlético dos Craque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desbravadores FC's Hílton Capixaba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clube Atlético dos Craque. Jorginho de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Hermes went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Wilton Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jorginho de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Pena might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Pena ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 48 minutes, Lucas Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desbravadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Pena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ian Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ian Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho de Souza having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Desbravadores FC's Wilton Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Wilton Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Lucas Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desbravadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorginho de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Varela in the 78th minute of play. Zé Augusto Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dagoberto Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Ian Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Ian Pena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dagoberto Meireles, passed just outside the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clube Atlético dos Craque players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Desbravadores FC.
