He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brodovsky reached it. After having played for 5 minutes, Putte Blue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SASB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Putte Blue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Putte Blue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Putte Blue went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Guto Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Fantini having to interfere. Putte Blue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Tande during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brodovsky's Luiz Tande got a free kick in the 21st minute. Raúl Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Putte Blue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Coelho having to interfere. Brodovsky's Guto Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mané Tande came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Brodovsky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Tande couldn't finish the play. Putte Blue succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 39th playminute. In the 44th minute, Putte Blue fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raúl Coelho, passed just outside the right post. Humberto Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Bezerra's late challenge caught a SASB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Putte Blue was the one to do the kick off. Falcão Fantini made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Mané Tande sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Luiz Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Putte Blue in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raúl Coelho saved Brodovsky from getting behind. Putte Blue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raúl Coelho having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Putte Blue in the 61st minute of play forced Brodovsky's goalkeeper Raúl Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Pernambucano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. Mané Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Felipe Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Brodovsky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Putte Blue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Raúl Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Bezerra in the 79th minute of play. Felipe Bezerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. SASB's Falcão Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SASB from getting a goal against them. Luiz Tande got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Brodovsky's Luiz Tande got a free kick in the 96th minute. Putte Blue struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Raúl Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SASB.
