Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Nóbrega kicked off to start the match. Miguel Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Silveira in the 3rd minute of the match. João Francisco Vaz took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manoel Tasso. Manoel Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Manoel Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus do Valle in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Luizinho Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Manoel Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ricardinho Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 24 minutes, Faustão Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Faustão Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Leite having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Emanuel Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vikings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaval the free kick. Manoel Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Faustão Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Leite having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, Vikings's goalkeeper Manoel Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Sá. In the 54th minute, Dênis Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Chaval defense, Emanuel Nóbrega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Leite. The Chaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Leite should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute of the match, Ricardinho Sá got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manoel Tasso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alberto Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Chaval's Alberto Severo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manoel Tasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaval's goalkeeper Miguel Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manoel Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardinho Sá in the 79th minute. Alberto Severo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Manoel Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaval. Vikings's Manoel Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Vikings from getting a goal against them.
