Patrick Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duda Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Téo Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Téo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Quadros having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match, Téo Hermes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duda Quadros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot by Willian Cardoso from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Duda Quadros's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Furacão EFL getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ronaldo Correia hit a great ball. Patrick Valadares struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Duda Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chatuba de Mesquita. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duda Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Pedrão Galvão made a huge save. Patrick Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Quadros having to interfere.
