Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felipe Bezerra kicked off to start the match. In the 5th match minute, Brodovsky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Tande to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Felipe Bezerra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manoel Tasso, passed just outside the right post. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vikings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Waldemar Pernambucano was slow to take the kick. During this time Brodovsky's players had a chance to rest. Luiz Tande made a great header on Brodovsky's corner, it was just that Vikings's Manoel Tasso managed to reach the ball for a save. Vikings's Emanuel Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Raúl Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luiz Tande was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. Raúl Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Nóbrega in the 50th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
In the 54th minute, Guto Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Nóbrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Emanuel Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Raúl Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikings. Raúl Coelho was a little too slow when Emanuel Nóbrega got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-1. If Faustão Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mané Tande struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Raúl Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Silveira in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Emanuel Nóbrega dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raúl Coelho, 0-2. Mané Tande's late challenge caught a Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mané Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vikings walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
