Walmyr Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sydney Mandrak made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Garcia in the 12th minute of play forced VIDAL FC's goalkeeper Edmílson Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Urbano's late challenge caught a Pierrot Calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdomiro Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. Germano Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The nice shot from Walmyr Penha in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sydney Mandrak had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Edmílson Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Garcia in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VIDAL FC's Fiori Negri got a free kick in the 27th minute. Walmyr Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Walmyr Penha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sydney Mandrak. Walmyr Penha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 42nd minute of the match Laerte de Moraes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sydney Mandrak skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of VIDAL FC booed when Pierrot Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Fiori Negri managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 47th match minute, Pierrot Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Paiva to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Germano Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Baltazar Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 56th play minutes Walmyr Penha shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sydney Mandrak and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 61st match minute, Pierrot Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Sydney Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando de Queirós in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of VIDAL FC booed when Pierrot Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pierrot Calcio's zone, Walmyr Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Mandrak came out of the goal and Walmyr Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walmyr Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, VIDAL FC's Edmílson Loyola got control of the ball when Mauro do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdomiro Urbano was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Fiori Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Penha in the 87th minute of the match. Pierrot Calcio's Sydney Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Penha in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VIDAL FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pierrot Calcio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
